About Us
Sensory OT-GO by Niya is a non-profit organization dedicated to donating sensory toys and ensuring they're
accessible to families of children with autism - who are on the go. We believe that every child deserves access to the tools they need to thrive, and we are committed to making a difference in the lives of those affected by autism. As an older sibling of a child with autism, I understand first hand that traveling with a child with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) involve challenges not all families encounter. Loud and crowded environments, unfamiliar settings, and change of routine can be extremely stressful to children with ASD. By donating sensory toys to waiting rooms frequented by families with ASD children (ex. medical and dental offices), it is my hope to help families cope with sensory stimulation needs while out in the public.
